MOSAIC Lessons

MOSAIC’s mission is to increase STEM literacy, interest, and awareness in the St. Louis/Metro East region by engaging more youth and children in STEM activities, promoting positive attitudes towards STEM, and creating long-lasting relationships with community organizations. Science Olympiad 

Science Olympiad is a team based competition for junior and senior high school students which encompass all areas of science. The event will take place February 15, 2014 from 9am-4pm. The Olympiad at SIUE is one of eight regional competitions and five teams are selected to advance at the State Olympiad to compete for the opportunity to participate to the Nationals.

Research Challenge 

The SIUE regional Science and Engineering Research Challenge hosts the finest 5th through 12th grade student projects from the region. Projects take advantage of a child’s natural curiosity, stimulate the imagination and encourage independent critical thinking. This year, the Research Challenge Regional Event will be held on March 29, 2014.
